Mary Ann Priester, Ph.D.

For more than 15 years, Mary Ann Priester has worked with vulnerable and underserved populations, particularly individuals experiencing homelessness. She is the former senior management analyst for Mecklenburg County Community Support Services on the Housing, Innovation, and Stabilization Services team.

Priester is a trained community-engaged researcher with 10+ years of experience working with community stakeholders to develop and execute stakeholder driven programs and research projects including project implementation, data collection and outcome analyses.

In the past, Priester was the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) Coordinator for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Continuum of Care where she led HMIS strategic planning efforts and provided data oversight, technical support and training to community agencies.
