Jenny Hutchison is a Research Associate for the Urban Institute at UNC Charlotte, where she started in February 2021. Jenny has an MBA in Finance from the University of Rochester, and a Ph.D in Health Services Research from UNC Charlotte. Her Ph.D. focused on the association between access to free clinics and reliance on emergency departments. What underlies both her financial and research career is a joy of learning, and analyzing data to improve understanding. At the Urban Institute at UNC Charlotte, Jenny primarily uses quantitative analysis with a focus on homelessness and education issues.
