Research Assistant
Charlotte Urban Institute
Fatima Rodriguez Caba is a research assistant from Charlotte, North Carolina. She graduated
from Winston-Salem State University with a bachelor’s degree in social work. She earned her
master’s degree in social work from UNC Charlotte in May 2024. Fatima is passionate about
promoting equitable access to resources and services within local and international communities
through research and the arts.
When she is not working within the community, Fatima enjoys writing poetry, reading, and
traveling back home to the Dominican Republic. She is excited to continue pursuing her passion
at the Urban Institute, and looks forward to collaborating with communities to create change
through research, partnerships, and innovative ideas in the Charlotte region.
